Please join us for a special Friday Maker Night as we commemorate the end of the Autumn season with snacks, tea and a thoughtful yarn exchange.
We are asking our makers who would like to participate in our yarn exchange to bring a full skein or two of high-quality and unused yarn from their stash; perhaps you have that impulse purchase you got on vacation, but know you’ll never actually use it? Have a skein of self-striping sock yarn but you don’t ever make socks? Give it to a maker who will find a use for it! We will then have a “leave-a-skein, take-a-skein” yarn exchange for all who would like to participate.
Grant Kettering, from Chicago CommuniTea, will be here pouring teas for our guests in the ancient style of Gong-fu tea brewing and sharing traditional Chinese teas from their personal collection.
We invite you to celebrate the end of the Autumn season at our cozy event!
