Learn how to create your first pair of socks! Like riding a bike, once you understand the construction of socks, it will be easy for you to make all different kinds! This workshop uses worsted weight yarn, to make it easier to learn the techniques needed to create socks.

Sarah will guide you through the cast on, knitting through the cuff, leg, heel flap, heel turn, gusset, foot, toe, and many tips to help you through the pattern.

This workshop includes Firefly’s Beginner Sock pattern, instructional videos, two (2) zoom sessions with Sarah, and 10% off discount code for one (1) purchase.

Prerequisite: Must be comfortable knitting, purling, and knitting in the round.

How our virtual workshops work:

When you sign up for a virtual workshop, we will send you an email with instructions on how to access the instructional videos and your workshop student discount code. You can watch the workshop on your own time, and as many times as you need. Students can sign up for two (2) zoom sessions, for any help they need by emailing us at firefly@fireflyfiberarts.com
