Learn the basics of cross stitch while making a cool cat! Choose one of the nine cat designs to work on during the workshop. Sarah will guide you on the basics of preparing your thread, how to read a cross stitch pattern, and the techniques used to create a beautiful cross stitch fabric!
This workshop is beginner friendly, with no sewing experience needed.
Workshop Includes:
8” embroidery hoop
White Aida 14ct cross stitch fabric
Cross stitch sewing needles
DMC thread in all colors needed for your pattern
Printed pattern by BoxAndFox
2 hours of instruction by Sarah
Meet Your Facilitator
Sarah is the co-owner of Firefly Fiber Arts Studio. She has been a crafter since her mom and Firefly partner, Leslie, taught her all things craft! Cross stitching was the first needle craft Sarah learned, and she enjoys taking a break from her knitting needles to pick up her sewing needle every so often. Sarah first started her teaching career over 10 years ago at college level art, and continues to be passionate about teaching art and craft with her community.
