Learn the basics of sweater making with the Carbeth Sweater! This easy to knit sweater has a flattering construction that can be customized to fit how you want.
Our experienced instructor, Sarah, will guide you through the many techniques used to make this sweater, with helpful tips along the way.
In this class, each week progresses to the next step outlined by the instructor. This class includes “homework” that will need to be done outside of class for the next session. Any missed classes will need to be made up during the week, before the next class.
This workshop has a 4 person minimum.
Prerequisites
Comfortable with the knit and purl stitches, and knitting in the round.

Amount of yarn according to the size you would like to make (scroll down for sizing info)
Needles required to obtain gauge (scroll down for needle info)

Needles & Notions:
US 10.5 / 6.5 mm needles for main body (or size needed to meet gauge.)
US 9 / 5.5 mm needles for ribbing (or size needed to meet gauge.)
16” cord and 24” or 32” cord
stitch markers
tapestry needle and scissors
Gauge:
14sts and 20roundss = 10 cm ( 4" ) worked in stockinette stitch
Sizing:
1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7)
Recommended ease :
10cm ( 4in ) of positive ease at bust.
Bust size:
36.5” (40”, 43.5”, 48”, 52.5”, 56”, 59.5”

DK weight held double or Bulky weight
Yardage:
DK held double: 1,080 (1,200, 1,320, 1,440, 1,560, 1,680) yds
Bulky: 515 (575, 625, 700, 765, 800, 860) yds

Cancellation Policy
To receive a full refund, please cancel 72 hours before the workshop start time. We cannot offer any refunds after that time.
Make Up Class Policy
Any missed classes in a consecutive weekly workshop will need to be made up within one week of the missed class.
No Show Policy
We will not offer any refunds for missed workshops.
