Learn the magic of intarsia colorwork with the adorable Make Myself Flowers vest! This simple-to-knit vest makes a great introduction to a new technique that can be applied to almost any knitted garment for extra color in your life.

Our experienced instructor, Jacqui, will guide you through every skill required to make this vest, with helpful tips along the way.

In this class, each week progresses to the next step outlined by the instructor. This class includes “homework” that will need to be done outside of class for the next session. Any missed classes will need to be made up during the week, before the next class.

This workshop has a 4 person minimum.

Prerequisites
Confident with the knit and purl stitches, confident at counting stitches

  • 7.5 hours of instruction by Jacqui Valdez

Materials Required

  • Amount of yarn according to the size you would like to make (scroll down for sizing info)

  • Needles required to obtain gauge (scroll down for needle info)

  • Stitch markers

  • tapestry needle

Needles & Notions:

  • 4mm circular needles with at least 24-inch (60-cm) cord

  • 4.5mm circular needles with at least 24-inch (60-cm) cord

    • IMPORTANT: Vexnot Studios recommends 4 & 4.5 mm needles, but I am recommending 5.5 & 6 mm needles as the designer is quite a loose knitter.

  • yarn A (white in photo): 150 (175) 200 (225) 250 (275) 300 (325) 350g light worsted-weight yarn (100 g = 142 m in sample yarn)

To receive a full refund, please cancel 72 hours before the workshop start time. We cannot offer any refunds after that time.

Make Up Class Policy

Any missed classes in a consecutive weekly workshop will need to be made up within one week of the missed class.

No Show Policy
We will not offer any refunds for missed workshops.
