Colorwork Cowl Workshop
Colorwork Cowl Workshop
Sundays, November 17 & November 24
12pm - 2pm
Led by Sarah Jamison
Learn how to knit stranded colorwork with a fun Doodle cowl by Jamie Lomax! Stranded colorwork knitting, also known as Fair Isle or two-handed knitting, combines two or more colors in a single row to create intricate patterns and designs. This technique results in a rich, textured fabric. Often used for sweaters, hats, and accessories, colorwork allows knitters to explore their creativity by blending hues and creating visually striking motifs. Embrace the challenge and delight in the beauty of your handmade creations.
Our experienced instructor, Sarah, will guide you through every step of creating your Doodle Cowl. Class instruction includes how to read a colorwork chart, how to knit stranded colorwork, handling floats and overall construction of your cowl. You’ll be able to pick your preferred colorwork pattern for this class from a bundle of patterns so you can make a unique Doodle cowl!
In this class, each week progresses to the next step outlined by the instructor. This class includes “homework” that will need to be done outside of class for the next session. Any missed classes will need to be made up during the week, before the next class.
