My First Knit Socks Workshop
My First Knit Socks Workshop
Sundays, February 16, 23, March 2 & 9.
12:00 - 1:30 pm
Led by Sarah Jamison
Learn how to create your first pair of hand-knit socks! Learn how to keep your feet cozy! This pattern uses worsted weight yarn to make it easier to learn the techniques needed to create socks. Once you understand the construction of socks, it will be easy for you to make all different kinds!
Our experienced instructor, Sarah, will guide you through the many techniques used in sock knitting from casting on, turning the heel, and grafting the toe, with helpful tips along the way.
In this class, each week progresses to the next step outlined by the instructor. This class includes “homework” that will need to be done outside of class for the next session. Any missed classes will need to be made up during the week, before the next class.
All students will receive 10% off yarn and needles needed for the workshop.
