Learn how to knit colorwork designs and how to steek your projects to create this geometric cardigan! Worked from the bottom up, the Figures cardigan is worked in one piece, then steeked (cut into) for the front, neck, and armholes. This workshop is great for adventurous beginners, and intermediate knitters who need support learning stranded colorwork, and steeking techniques. 

Our experienced instructor, Sarah, will guide you through every step including sizing, gauge swatching, reading the pattern and charts, colorwork techniques, and steeking support needed to create this fun sweater! Scroll down to see pattern details including sizes. 

All students will receive 10% off yarn and needles needed for the workshop.

Prerequisites
Must know basic knit stitches (knit and purl), and simple increase and decrease stitches.

Materials Required

• Amount of yarn according to the size you would like to make

• Needles required to obtain gauge (there will be opportunity to try different sizes before making a purchase)

• Crochet hook the same size as your needles

• Stitch markers

• Tapestry needle

  Scrap yarn

  6 buttons

How to Sign Up for Classes

Classes are held on Saturdays, on a 7 week schedule. This package includes 4 classes, with additional sessions $25 each. Students will need to sign up for 4 sessions in advance, as each class has a 5 person maximum. Your first class is 2 hours long, your remaining classes will be 1 hour each. 

Once students sign up for the workshop and check out, a link will be emailed to you so you can sign up for your classes. You will be able to reschedule classes as needed.
